Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Roadmap

Arizona Arts is strategically thinking and planning innovative ways forward that foster equity and diversity in our daily work and service. The Climate Survey is a way to self-assess and develop goals and strategies for enhancing equity and diversity work on campus and in the community. 

The Climate Survey will engage students, faculty, staff, and alumni engagement with Arizona Arts, expanding… The survey allows us to look broadly across demographics, curriculum, teaching, research, and mentoring to identify areas for deep, sustainable transformation. These changes will develop, grow, and ensure a vibrant and supportive campus climate built on equitable practices.

A New Diversity & Inclusion Committee

Since it was established in 2018, the CFA Diversity & Inclusion Committee has promoted diversity within individual curricula, sponsored events that exemplify inclusive excellence, and worked to retain students from underrepresented backgrounds. To further strengthen equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across the entirety of the Arizona Arts division, the committee will engage all fine arts units and functional areas of the division in collectively pursuing next steps throughout the 2021-22 academic calendar.
