MAGIC HOUR is a free screening of short fiction films made by students in the University of Arizona’s School of Theatre, Film & Television and they will all premiere in the Marroney Theatre on May 13 and 14.

Important: The exact same program of all 16 Magic Hour films will be shown on both nights.

These screenings are FREE to attend and open to the public. Please reserve your ticket in advance.

NIGHT 1 – MAY 13: Screening + Q&A
NIGHT 2 – MAY 14: Screening + Awards Ceremony

Please note: While the post-screening events differ, the film lineup is identical on both evenings.

*We expect both evenings to sell out. Will call will open 5 minutes before the start of the event to allow those on the waitlist to claim a seat.

  •  by Milena Gauchat, Elijah Schmadel and Andy Mourelatos
  • Sacred Archive by Nicole Lease and Francisco Montes
  • Smile, Please by Caroline Rosen and Madeline Heinrich
  • Till Death by Dominic Solano and Aimee Franklin Plat
  • Verament by Dara Sam and Abram Romero
  • When the World Went Quiet by Olivia Barnes, Marshall Sullivan, and Elijah Schmadel
  • Wild Wasteland by Jesse Bravo and Gabriel Verdugo
