The School of Art will welcome new and transfer students — and welcome back current students — on Wednesday, Sept. 9, in an event that includes campus groups.
From 4:30 to to 5 p.m., the new and transfer students will attend an orientation. Then, from 5 to 6 p.m., all School of Art students and faculty/staff are invited to join the school for a party in the School of Art Lobby and Courtyard with live screen printing, art activities, raffle prizes and eegee’s.
Campus groups will also have tables in the lobby and courtyard. Last year, they included: Sienna Collective, CATalyst, AHGSA & ARH Undergrad Club, CAPS/Campus Health, CCP, SOA Galleries, Student Success (SSRI, Think Tank, THRIVE), Animation Club, AZ Arts Live, AZ Arts Connect, CFA Wellness, CFA Ambassadors & Student Success, Scholarships and Honors College, and Design Arts & Practices (DAP).
