Natalie Pohanic has been bringing songs to life since she was a toddler, and this decades-long dedication to her artistry and songwriting is on full display in this set recorded live in Centennial Hall.
Tune in Thursday, June 10, at 6p on YouTube and Facebook for this singer/songwriter’s gutsy performance of her rockin’ original songs.
A Tucson native, Natalie made her beginnings in music singing to lizards and honey bees in her childhood backyard, leading to explorations in classical music on cello, and a few riotous teenage garage bands. A lifelong songwriter, with roots in Americana and rock ‘n’ roll, Natalie makes her musical home in dream folk – songs rich with tender melody and stories of starlit desert adventures.
“I want people to do what makes em happy and have the courage to do whichever ‘job’ they don’t wanna call out of. I feel like life can be simpler for us all if we take the leap of faith to pursue whatever makes us happy. We all have a place, and we all get a piece of the pie. For me I just hope when I play a gig that I make someone’s day better- my own day and theirs,” said Natalie.
Don’t miss this beautiful set by one of Tucson’s most powerful singers.
