“True crime” fans, this round is for you. From thefts to forgeries, September’s Virtual Art Trivia Happy Hour will explore some of the most notorious art crimes of all time – including a whodunit at our very own University of Arizona Museum of Art!

As usual, the multiple choice questions will be fun for all trivia lovers and answers will be anonymous. So don your herringbone hat, pack your pipe and dust off your magnifying glass, then join us on Zoom for some super sleuthing!

P.S. – Willem de Kooning’s Woman-Ochre – infamously stolen from the UAMA in 1985, recovered in 2017 and now expertly restored by the Getty – returns to the walls of the Museum this fall for the first time in 37 years. See it starting Oct. 8!

Police sketches from 1985 of the pair responsible for the brazen heist of Woman-Ochre.
