Join us on Saturday, April 22, at the Center for Creative Photography (CCP) to enjoy Earth Day in the Arts District!
From 1-4p, artists and environmental advocates from the student body and Tucson community at large will be presenting their work in the name of sustainability, climate justice, and environmental appreciation.
College of Fine Arts students’ live music, visual art, photography, and dance on film will be shown along with the CCP’s current exhibits! Bring a t-shirt, tote bag, or any other cotton-based item to be customized by CREAM, a Tucson-based design and print company, with Earth Day illustrations provided by a Wildcat alum.
Radicchio will be catering a fine selection of their vegetarian buffet, so don’t forget your appetite either! ALL FREE OF CHARGE.
Interested in pursuing artistic and/or environmental projects of your own? Representatives from the Arizona Institute of Resilience and Environmental Studies will be presenting on their newly opened applications for the Earth Grant and Liverman Scholars program!
