Every individual participating in or accessing Arizona Arts-sponsored and coordinated programs, activities, or facilities, including but not limited to performances, exhibitions, lectures, and receptions, is expected to treat other persons and groups with dignity and respect.
Behavior that is unsafe or harmful to others is not permissible at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Ignoring requests from venue staff and security regarding facility operations and emergency response procedures.
- Verbal abuse, including derogatory language, signage, or gestures that are disruptive, violent, threatening, or incitements to violence.
- Discrimination or harassment related to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, citizenship, sex, pregnancy, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
- Behavior that is in violation of Arizona law, federal law, or University policies.
Your support and cooperation in upholding the Arizona Arts Events and Activities Expectations will help us maintain a culture of respect and inclusion. We appreciate your commitment to our community and to each other.
Subject to other university policies and codes of conduct, individuals who are found to be in violation of Arizona Arts Events and Activities Expectations may additionally be subject to the following consequences: revocation of ticket privileges; removal from the event and/or premises; disassociation from Arizona Arts (e.g., loss of membership benefits); or loss of any other arts related benefits or privileges deemed appropriate by Arizona Arts administration, including exclusionary order.
University of Arizona students are advised to consult the University’s Student Code of Conduct. Faculty and staff shall refer to employee ethics and conduct policies.
