The Arizona Arts human resources team has had a busy summer.
Three seasoned leaders have joined the college’s senior team: Jeff Beekman as director of the School of Art and Pete Froslie as associate dean of research and graduate studies, both starting July 1, and Lia Uribe, who begins as director of the School of Music on Aug. 10.
“The amazing thing is, all three are really seasoned leaders and scholars,” said Hasan Elahi, dean of Arizona Arts. “They came with some really strong vision.”

Rounding out the senior leadership team is Amy Kraehe, who has served Arizona Arts for the past five years as associate vice president and was recently selected as vice dean.
Beekman, Froslie, Uribe and Kraehe are among more than 25 new hires who have joined Arizona Arts since July 1.
