Center for Creative Photography

The Center is excited to announce our first-ever mobile guide, CCP Interactive, made possible by a generous contribution from Max McCauslin.

CCP Interactive extends and enriches the Center for Creative Photography’s public engagement and learning initiatives. Listen to unique perspectives about our exhibitions, art and archival collections, and programs. Find guided tours of CCP galleries; selections from photographic and oral history collections; hyperlinks for suggested further reading; and information about institutional membership and other upcoming events. In its first edition, the app provides a more immersive experience of the CCP’s newest exhibition, The Qualities of LIGHT: The Story of a Pioneering New York City Photography Gallery, with oral interviews from artists, gallerists, and scholars who were members of the LIGHT community, as well as a curatorial tour with the CCP’s Chief Curator, Dr. Rebecca Senf.

The app is now live on the App Store! You can download the mobile app to your smartphone, peruse it on an iPad in the CCP gallery, or visit the front desk to borrow a device for listening throughout the gallery. You can also view the content online here.
