University of Arizona Opera Theater presents Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell and Nahum Tate (1688).
Can Dido’s love for Aeneas prevail against a wicked sorceress determined to ruin their happiness? The opera is based on Virgil’s story of the Trojan Aeneas and his beloved Dido, Queen of Carthage.
