Join us in celebrating the opening of “Staged: The Art of Performance”!
Featuring works from the University of Arizona Museum of Art collection and loans from local private collections — including “Marilyn Monroe (Marilyn)” by Andy Warhol and “Avalon Ballroom” by Warrington W. Colescott — “Staged: The Art of Performance” showcases the beauty and spectacle of stagecraft.
This reception is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served. A string quartet from the School of Music will provide entertainment throughout the evening, and School of Dance students will perform excerpts from their Season Preview taking place the following night.
