Space Travelers Union is a collective founded by Ryan Wheless dedicated to pushing the boundaries of acoustic and electronic fusion. Influenced by the likes of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper, Yussef Dayes, and Toro y Moi, they have quickly made its mark, catching the attention of key industry figures. Space Travelers Union: No Surface is an improvised creative music performance combining live acoustic and electronic sound with real-time projections to blur the line between music and visuals, creating the feeling of weightlessness and drift.
This one-night collaboration between Space Travelers Union and Tucson-based projection artist Tucker Grams transforms the planetarium dome into an experimental site for deep listening and exploration.
