‘The Art of Food’ Community Day from the University of Arizona Museum of Art on Oct. 24 (noon-4p) is free. Admission is FREE thanks to support from the Edward J. Gallagher, Jr. Memorial Fund.
Programming will feature special guests from local organizations like the Community Food Bank, Mission Gardens and Urban Forestry Project. Enjoy live artist demonstrations, @papel_poet’s personalized poems, pop-up zine-making with the Poetry Center, live music and more.
This exhibition offers something for every palette, with modern and contemporary works by artists including Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Enrique Chagoya and Lorna Simpson curated from the renowned collections of Jordan D.
