UA Dance presents Premium Blend will honor veterans on campus, including ROTC students, their teachers and mentors. “Duty to country” is the inspiration for these special concerts.
Concerts begin at 7:30p on Nov. 16-20 with matinees on Nov. 20-21 at 1:30p.
Fall ticket packages go on sale Oct. 1; single ticket sales begin Oct. 15.
Gold Jackets by Autumn Eckman
“Gold Jackets” pays tribute to brotherhood, defined by fellowship, alliance, and honor. With choreography by Autumn Eckman, “Gold Jackets” is inspired by composer Ennio Morricone’s powerful film score for The Mission.
Choreography for the Camera
UA Dance is offering a few site-specific pieces created for and performed in front of the camera. For the Stevie Eller Dance Theatre audience, these pieces by Marquez Johnson and Hayley Meier will be shown as large format, cinematic images on screen
Faculty Choreography
Premium Blend will also feature choreography by faculty members Tamara Dyke-Compton, Michael Williams, and Chris Compton — some new, some back by popular demand – will welcome our live audiences back into the theatre.
