In addition to detailing individual accomplishments, this report captures and demonstrates our tangible progress in implementing the Arts Initiative in the University’s strategic plan,” wrote Dean Andrew Schulz of the 2021 report. “That plan calls on us to elevate the arts and to integrate them into all aspects of the university’s mission. I am sure you will agree that the collective challenges we have all faced over the past 18 months demonstrate now more than ever the critical role and value of the arts in our lives and our world.”

The activities and accomplishments recorded in the reports that follow would not have been possible without the unwavering support of President Robert C. Robbins, Provost Liesl Folks, and the University’s entire Senior Leadership Team. Equally vital is the ongoing support and generosity of our many patrons and donors, whose deep engagement demonstrates the belief we share in the transformative power of the arts for our students, our university, our communities, and our future.
