University of Arizona’s Bias Education and Support Team (BEST) is a resource for all members of the University community who believe they have experienced, observed, or been made aware of a bias-related incident that would not constitute a violation of the Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment Policy, but for which they would like to seek support and/or facilitate educational opportunities for themselves or others.

Threat Assessment and Management Team (TAMT)
The Threat Assessment and Management Team (TAMT) is a multidisciplinary group of faculty and staff that reviews reports about concerning behaviors; considers various approaches to managing concerning behavior; and provides guidance to students, faculty and staff regarding how to address and prevent violent and disruptive behavior.

The Ombuds Office helps individuals to address concerns and challenges in an effective and constructive manner through consultation, coaching, and providing an objective, neutral view of the situation. The office serves all levels of the U of A faculty, staff, and students in all the U of A units and colleges who have a university-related concern.

University of Arizona Police Department (UAPD)
The University of Arizona Police Department (UAPD) strives to provide the highest level of safety and service through ongoing collaboration, community engagement, inclusive justice and transparency. They offer apps for communication, public safety maps, and emergency procedures. Call or text 911 for any emergency requiring police, fire or medical assistance.
