Did you know that as a University of Arizona student, you have access to incredible arts events, often at little to no cost?
Arizona Arts produces over 700 events annually, ranging from performances and exhibitions to lectures and film screenings. Most events are free or heavily discounted for students. Here’s how you can take advantage:
Ticket Prices
Arizona Arts Live
Student tickets to Arizona Arts Live performances and experiences are just $10 for all events. Arizona Arts Live has offered this discounted rate for every event for the past three years. This year the Marshall Foundation is underwriting this program that ensures that every student in Southern Arizona (K-12 and university) can enjoy the performing arts. (Arizona Arts Live also provide free tickets, no questions asked, in the Campus Pantry.)
To access the student rate, visit the Arizona Arts Box Office at Centennial Hall with your student ID or visit ArizonaArtsLive.com. Find your event, click on “Get Tickets,” then click on “General Admission” to select the student rate.
CCP / UAMA
Admission is always free for students at both the Center for Creative Photography and the University of Arizona Museum of Art. Both offer a free Student Membership, which unlocks invitations to exclusive members-only events. Membership is open to students currently enrolled at the University of Arizona, Pima Community College, and Tohono O’odham Community College and is valid through your graduation date. When you join, your student ID will act as your membership card.
School of Art
Enjoy School of Art exhibitions, presentations and the VASE Lecture Series open to students and the community for free.
School of Dance
Attend stunning performances at the School of Dance at a discounted rate of $15 per ticket.
School of Music
Love live music? Most School of Music concerts, recitals, and ensemble performances are free and open to the public. For ticketed events, prices are just $10, but University of Arizona, Pima Community College, and high school students can attend free with a student ID. School of Music students enjoy free admission to all events.
School of Theatre, Film & Television
Get immersed in live theatre and film with discounted student ticket prices. College and high school students are eligible to attend many School of Theatre, Film & Television theatre productions for free or at a discount! Tickets will be available to any student who shows a valid Student ID and provides their email at the Tornabene, Marroney, or Centennial box office on a first-come, first-serve basis (subject to availability). The Marroney and Tornabene box offices opens 60 minutes before show time. Students must be currently enrolled and attending classes at their educational institution.
For “John Proctor,” the New Direction Festival, and the BA Theatre Showcase, offer free admission to students. Available for reservation in person at the box office in advance or on the day of the performance.
Later this spring students can purchase $5 rush tickets for “Little Women.” Only available at the theatre an hour before the show, first come, first served.
