While the UAMA celebrates a joyful conclusion to its Woman-Ochre saga, Anthony Amore – Director of Security and Chief Investigator at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum – hopes for a similarly happy ending.

He is responsible for the ongoing efforts to recover 13 works stolen from the Gardner Museum on March 18, 1990 – the single largest property theft in the world!

During this in-person talk, Amore will take a deep dive into the world of art crime, imparting his wisdom as both an investigator and security practitioner. The best-selling author will also be available to sign his book “The Woman Who Stole Vermeer: The True Story of Rose Dugdale and the Russborough House Heist.”

Venue: Berger Auditorium (Room 207), McClelland Hall, 1130 East Helen Street
Book Signing from 4-5p; talk begins at 5:30p

All talks in the Woman-Ochre Speaker Series are generously supported by Tim Hagyard with Long Realty, specializing in historic and unusual properties.
