The annual First-Year MFA Showcase — “Nice to Meet You!” — celebrates incoming School of Art graduate students in the Master of Fine Arts program.

The 2026 exhibition features the work of Athena Apodaca, Marcus Chormicle, Fiona Doherty, Rafaela Dittrich Guebert, Clarissa Kear, Keelin Miller, Melanie Montes, Sheldon Patten and Bryce Pol.

A free public reception will be held Thursday, Jan. 22, from 4-6 p.m. The exhibition is on view Jan. 14 to Feb. 6 at the Lionel Rombach Gallery, 1031 N. Olive Road.
