University Singers and University Community Chorus (UCC) are partnering with Alfie Norville Gem and Mineral Museum for an immersive concert experience.

UCC has commissioned a multi-movement work from Tucson-based composer, Joshua Keeling. This work for mixed-voice and percussion ensemble shares the personal stories of mine workers in search of hidden treasures. University Singers will present music connected to gems and minerals commonly found in Arizona: wulfenite, silver, malachite, gold, and turquoise. Speakers from the museum will share facts, stories, and beautiful photos throughout the concert.
