Fiesta del Maíz returns for its annual celebration honoring one of the most culturally significant crops in the Sonoran Desert’s history. This free community event transforms Kennedy Park into a vibrant fiesta featuring some of the best food in the Southwest, artisan makers, family-friendly activities, and art installations.
Headlining this year’s fiesta is Los Apson. With a career spanning decades and a sound that has soundtracked generations of families, Los Apson is one of the most beloved and iconic banda and cumbia groups in the history of Mexican popular music. Get ready for a free evening celebrating the very best of Tucson and reminding us all why we love to call this place home.
