University of Arizona Museum of Art
Mapping Q Anniversary Reception
Nov. 21
5-7p

Since 2014, Mapping Q has created safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth to reflect on identity and community through the visual arts. Its annual workshop series traditionally culminates with an exhibition of artworks created by participants, and this year’s is extra special. Titled still queer after all these years, the exhibition showcases work by participants from both the present and past.

This evening reception celebrates the youth, teaching artists and community organizations who have directly shaped and supported this program over the years. Browse the exhibition and meet the artists while enjoying light refreshments, music and fun activities at The Art Cart hosted by Handcrafted by Care. Remarks will be given at 6p!

This event is free and open to the public.
