The Music + Festival 2021, now in its 14th year directed by Daniel Asia, will focus on the groundbreaking career of Nadia Boulanger and her renowned students.
Boulanger (1887-1979) was a conductor, organist and one of the most influential teachers of musical composition of the 20th century. She taught composers from around the world, like Philip Glass, Thea Musgrave, Quincy Jones, Astor Piazzolla, Mary Pierce, and many others.
Music + Festival 2021 has six concerts, including the Music of Quincy Jones and the Music of Aaron Copland, plus, a symposium with guest speakers, and more.
